CPI-ML calls Bihar bandh on November 24

CPI-ML (Liberation) called for Bihar bandh on November 24 to press for early implementation of D Bandhopadhyaya Commission recommendations on land reforms.

This was announced by CPI-ML (Liberation) state secretary Nand Kishore Prasad while talking to reporters in Patna on November 3, 2009.
He said CPI-ML (Liberation) would be observing state-wide bandh on November 24 to press for implementation of land reforms measures in keeping with the recommendations of the Bandopadhyaya Commission.
He alleged that the Nitish Kumar-led government was "anti-poor and inefficient".
His party would resort to 'pad-yatra' between November 10 and 16 to highlight the misdeeds of the state government, he added.
