Patna Police seize huge cache of arms and ammunition






Patna Police with the help of Special Task Force (STF) seized a huge cache of firearms and ammunition from a house in Bhoothnath Road area under Agamkuan Police Station on November 8, 2009.
Police said six country made carbines, eight semi-prepared carbines, two country made pistols, 7221 live cartridges of 12 bore gun, fifty detonators, zinc oxide and other chemicals used for making bombs were seized from the rented part of a house owned by retired government employee.

Police also arrested two persons in this connection.
Earlier on Saturday, police recovered of 300 kg of bomb making materials from an abandoned truck near old by-pass road in Kankerbagh locality.
