RJD to step up protest against Gadkari

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad said his party would hold demonstrations across Bihar on May 18 to step up protests over BJP president Nitin Gadkari's derogatory remarks against him.
Lalu Prasad was talking to media in Patna on May 14, 2010.
"We are not going to leave the issue alone and we will step up our struggle against Gadakari for such an irresponsible and indecent remark," Prasad said.
Prasad said his party would hold a "jail bharo" protest on August 8 demanding the implementation of Sachar committee and Ranganath Mishra commission recommendations and also to protest rising prices of essential commodities.
