Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lays foundation stone of Green Police Academy






Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art Green Police Academy at Mor Gaon in Nalanda district on August 13, 2010.

Speaking on the occasion, the Bihar CM the green police academy would be built by the Bihar State police Construction Corporation on 133 acres to impart modern training to directly appointed sub-inspectors, deputy superintendents and assistant superintendents of police through specialised courses.

The academy would be the first of its kind in Bihar as after the bifurcation of the state in November 2000, the only police academy located at Hazaribagh of undivided Bihar went to the Jharkhand.

Chief Minister also inaugurated newly constructed police building with 18th thana building at Mor Gaon, Rajgir.
