Under the Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Programme an inter-college debate competition on " Renewable energy is the only means to fight climate change" was organised at Patna Women's College (PWC) in Patna on September 28, 2010. Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) and Eco Task Force of Patna Women's College jointly organised the competition.Kuki and Aditi Abhijit of PWC in English and Shadabi Bano and Ashish Ranjan (both Science College) in Hindi emerged champions.
