JD(U) Minority Cell chairman Md Abu Talib Rehmani along with several leaders joined RJD in presence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad in Patna on October 5, 2010.
Speaking on the occasion, Rehmani alleged that Nitish Kumar had been using minorities as a vote bank and said the chief minister had turned down his request for giving party tickets to 25 Muslim candidates in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly election and making a Muslim a member of the party's Parliamentary Board.
He said he would campaign for the RJD-LJP combine.
