Patna University students stalled university functioning on September 29, 2010 in support of their demands. Student activists belonging to AISF forced the closer of academic and other activities of the university. AISF activists were fast-unto-death agitation demanding withdrawal of late fee of Rs 1000 in post graduate courses registration since September 25, 2010. PU vice-chancellor Professor Shyam Lal reached the hunger strike venue and announced to withdraw late fine. He also announced to consider other demands of the students. Later, students withdrew their agitation.
