Different functions were organised in Patna on January 13, 2011 to celebrate the 144th birth anniversary of Sir Ganesh Dutt Singh, a noted philanthropist, educationist and politician. At Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir, a souvenir on the life of Sir Ganesh Dutt was released. Ganesh Dutt Jayanti Samaorh was organised at Sir Ganesh Dutt Memorial College, West New Bailey Road. Blankets were distributed to poor people at Congress Maidan to mark the occasion.
