Bihar Water Resource Department Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary inaugurated a UGC sponsored workshop-cum-training programme on " Techniques of Water Quality Assessment", organised by Geology Department of Patna University at Science College hall in Patna on January 12, 2011.Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary called upon the scientists and common people to conserve water and use it efficiently. " Contamination of ground water is more dangerous than that of surface water," he said.
