Bal Olympiad 2011, a sports-cum-cultural meet for children of 10 to 14 years of age group, began at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna on January 31, 2011. Bihar HRD Minister PK Sahi and Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister Sukhda Pandey inaugurated the three-day meet jointly. Students dawn from different schools of Bihar presented attractive cultural programmes to mark the opening function. March past by participants was the added attraction.
