Patna erupts in joy and ecstasy after India's Cricket World Cup win
















Patna erupted in euphoria on April 2, 2011, night as India won the cricket World Cup beating Sri Lanka in a thrilling final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.Honking horns, fans spilled into streets on motorcycles and cars flaunting the tricolour soon after captain M S Dhoni hit the winning runs. As India came within sniffing distance of a win, people had already started bursting crackers. The night sky was illuminated with fire crackers as cricket fans gathered at the Dak Bungalow round-about to express the joy and ecstasy on Mahendera Singh Dhoni’s men World Cup win after a gap of 28 years.
