LJP holds state-level meeting of office-bearers

Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) held its state-level office-bearers and district units presidents meeting in Patna on November 9, 2011. LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan presided over the meeting.

Later, talking to reporters Paswan demanded that Bihar should have a fair and honest person as Lokayukta, but did not comment on the proposal to bring the Chief Minister under its purview.

He said his party would ask the Lokayukta to probe the alleged irregularities in land allotment and the excise scam in Bihar.
