Fans disappointed as SRK's Patna visit called off at last moment

King Khan's Patna visit turned into a despair for thousands of fans who thronged the P and M Mall in Patna on December 13, 2011 as Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan did not turn up. King Khan was scheduled to visit Cinepolis at P amd M Mall to promote his latest venture "Don2-The King is Back". The official report stated that Shah Rukh Khan's plane was not given permission to land at Patna airport due to inclement weather while the other report stated that police and local administration prevent Shah Rukh Khan from landing in Patna.
Thousands of fans who waited patiently for more than four hours to see King Khan, lost their cool as police resorted to lathicharge to disperse angry fans. Several SRK fans were injured in the lathicharge.
