Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar released a book of Nai Taleem during the second national conference of Nai Taleem ( Basic education) in Patna on December 1, 2011. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the conference, which was organised by National Council of Rural Institute (NCRI), Hyderabad in association with Human Resource Development Department and AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies. The Nai Taleem was conceptualised by Mahatma Gandhi as a radical alternative to colonial education to develop an ideal society.
