Winter session of the Bihar Assembly begins

Winter session of the Bihar Assembly began in Patna on December 2, 2011. Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary welcomed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other members in the House. Later, the Assembly was adjourned after paying tributes to departed leaders including former Chief Minister Bhagwat Jha Azad and former Minister Hari Prasad Sah. Speaker Chaudhary read out the obituary references to 17 departed leaders lauding their contributions during their respective political careers.
