Now, Bihar is leprosy-free State
Bihar Government claimed that the State is now almost leprosy free. Talking to media in Patna on April 24, 2012, Bihar Government Health Secretary Amarjeet Sinha and Bihar State Health Society Director Sanjay Kumar said the leprosy prevalence rate had come down to less than one per 10,000 population.
