Leading telecom service provider Airtel will organise Ek Sham Bachchan Ke Nam at Sri Kirshna Memorial Hall in Patna on December 30. The function is being organized to commemorate the birth centenary celebrations of noted Hindi poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Leading Hindi poets of the country are expected to participate in the function.

Govt to open 10000 more high schools in Bihar
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressing a meeting at Banjari after unveiling a statue of Iron Man of India Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel on Friday.
Speaking in the meeting Nitish laid emphasis on education saying his government would open 9000 to 10000 high schools in the state. “We will ensure every part of the state should have at least a high school”, he remarked.

Bihar State Youth Festival begins
You will love it to be there: Bihar State Youth Festival began in Patna on Tuesday with participants drawn from different districts of the state taking out bicycle rally from the Moinul Haq stadium. Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi ianugurated the fest at Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir. Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister Renu Devi presided over the function while Health Minister Nand Kishor Yadav graced the function as guest of honour. Folk songs, dance, drama and many a other cultural items enthralled the audience throughout the day.
