BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi in Patna
Senior BJP leader Dr Murli Manohar Joshi addressed a national seminar on "Human unity in context of democracy" that was organised in the memory of Jan Sangh leader Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at Dadi Ji Mandir in Patna on April 11, 2015. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi also spoke on the occasion. Joshi said Janata Parivar merger would not pose any challenge to BJP in Bihar Assembly election. He also spoke on terrorism and violence emerging across the globe.

The 108th birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Jagjivan Ram, was celebrated in Patna on April 10, 2015. Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar was the chief guest in the function. Several Congress leaders including Meira Kumar and Shakeel Ahmad paid tributes to Jagjivan Ram.
