Patna, March 31,2017: Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Dr Prem Kumar pedalled a bicycle to reach Vidhan Sabha Budget Session on Friday. The initiative was taken by the senior BJP leader following a call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to skip use of petrol and diesel for once in a week atleast.

Bihar Board's Intermediate exams 2018 to be held from February 7 to 19; Matric exams from February 21 to 28

Patna, March 27, 2017: Bihar School Examination Board (chairman) Anand Kishor released the academic calendar of the Bihar Board announcing the dates of the Intermediate and Matric (high school) examinations of 2018 here on Monday.
This is for the first time ever, the Bihar Board has taken the initiative to declare the examination dates at the earliest and that too in the month of March. Earlier, BSEB used to announce it after October every year.
As per the schedule, the intermediate examinations will be held from February 7 to 19 while Matric examination will be held from February 21 to 28.
The BSEB has also taken the required measures to regularise academic session of Simultala Residential School. Now, the new session of this school will begin in April every year. The preliminary entrance test for 2018 session will be held on December 24 this year while the main entrance test will be held on February 4, 2018.

RJD leaders discuss present political situation of Bihar



Patna, March 26, 2017: RJD leaders including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and others participated in the party  meeting to discuss the present political situation in Bihar post Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. RJD chief Lalu Prasad and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi were present in the meeting.
RJD leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav called upon the party workers to get prepared for the 2019 general election.
It is also learnt that RJD is mulling to go alone in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
