Bihar Government celebrates Total Revolution Day

The CM paying tributes to Jayaprakash Narayan on the occasion of Total Revolution Movement Day.
Speaking at the function the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar announced the government decision to implement JP Senani Samman Yojana. The scheme carries a monthly pension Rs 5000 to Rs 2500 per month to 8, 770 persons, who had participated in the Total Revolution Movement led by Jayaprakash Narayan in 1974 and were jailed for different periods during emergency. The scheme would be effective from June 1, 2009
