Bihar Chief Minister on Wednesday (June 3, 2009) launched Dial 108, a life support ambulance service in Patna. The project will provide emergency transportation and prompt care to patients needing urgent medical attention.
The Chief Minister flagged off a fleet of 10 ambulances from Old Secretariat. The ambulances that will be operational in Patna and its adjoining areas are equipped with all required medical facilities required during an emergency to save a life. The charge of each trip made by the ambulance is Rs 300.

108 ambulance rajashthan me bhi ziqitza health care chala rahi ha magar ambulance ki or filed staff(emt/pilot) ki haalt kharab ha 5-6 din tak akele ko hi duty karni padti ha rajashthan ki 108 sawa ki haalat sudharo
