Braving the heat, thousands of devotees thronged the ISKCON temple at Budh Marg in Patna to have the darshan of Lord Jagannath on June 24, 2009. The chariots carrying Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra were pulled along to the streets of Patna. Devotees danced, chanting “Hare Krishna” and “Jai Jagannath” when the three deities were ceremonially brought out through the main gate of temple on the road.
