Twenty-two newly-elected members of Bihar Legislative Council take their oaths in Patna on July 23, 2009.Bihar Legislative Council's acting chairman Arun Kumar administered the oath to them. Among those who took oath 15 belong to ruling NDA – with 11 from JD(U) and 4 from BJP, besides 3 from opposition RJD, 3 from LJP and 4 independents.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi and their ministerial colleagues.
