Rs 27cr World Bank aid for flood management in Bihar

Bihar Water Resource Department Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav inaugurates a four-day worshop on "Long-lead flood forecasting and applications" in Patna on August 18, 2009.
Speaking on the occasion Javier Zuleta, senior water resources specialist, agriculture and rural development unit, sustainable development department, World Bank said WB would provide technical assistance of Rs 27 crore to Water Resources Department of Bihar for the second phase work on Flood Management Information System (FMIS).
