RJD demands CBI probe into NREGA

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders Ghulam Ghaus (centre) and Ram Kripal Yadav called for a CBI inquiry into the irregularities highlighted by the Examiner of Local Accounts (ELA) under Principal Accountant General Audit (PAG) in the state.
Talking to media in Patna on October 9, 2009, they said the ELA had exposed the irregularities in execution of schemes under National Rural Employment Guaratee Act, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI).
