Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor D Subbarao reached Patna on February 17, 2010 on a two-day visit to this city. Subbarao later called on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the state secretariat.
Kumar and Subbarao were believed to have discussed various economic issues concerning the state and the RBI's role. The meeting lasted for around half-an-hour.
