Congress party's state election officer Girish Kumar Sanghi and BPCC president Anil Kumar Sharma jointly flagged off the "Parivartan Rath Yatra" in Patna on March 7, 2010 aimed at dislodging the NDA government in the state alleging it had failed to fulfill its pre-poll promises made to the people in 2005.
The yatra will spread the message "Congress lao Bihar Bachao, Bihar ki Unnati Deshi Ki Unnati" ( Bring back Congress to power, development of Bihar means development of the Country).
In the first phase the Parivartan Rath carrying congress leader and AICC Bihar affairs in-charge Jagdish Tytler will visit remote villages of Jehanabad, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Buxar, Bhojpur and Patna covering 32 assembly constituencies.
