Eight more Information Centres inaugurated in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated eight newly-constucted Soochana
Bhawans (Information Centres) at Motihari, Madhepura, Madhubani, Begusarai, Samastipur, Jamui, Supaul and Bhabhua through teleconferencing from Patna on April 22, 2010.
The Chief Minister also released seven doucumentary films made by Information and Public Releation Department.

COMFED turns 27



Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation (COMFED), popularly known by its brand name Sudha, celebrated its 27th foundation day in Patna on April 18, 2010. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the function. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Co-operative Minister Giriraj Singh, Animal Husbandry Minister Ram Narayan Mandal and COMFED managing director Atish Chandra were present on the occasion. The federation has achieved a record collection of 11.11 lakh kilogram of milk in a day.
Speaking on the occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said COMFED had lot of potential and we should make effort to put Sudha products in each and every household of the country.
