Different functions were organised to celebrate World Child Labour Eradication Day in Patna on June 12, 2010. At AN Sinha Institute of Social Studies, Bihar's Labour Resources Minister Awadhesh Narayan Singh said state government was committed to strict action under the provision of Child Labour (Prohibition ) Act 1986 and other laws against any individual or company found guilty employing children.
