Devendra Prasad Yadav launches new party Samajwadi Janata Dal (Democratic)


Former MP and RJD leader Devendra Prasad Yadav launched a new party, Samajwadi Janata Dal (Democratic), as a third front to take on the ruling NDA and RJD-LJP combine in the upcoming Assembly election in Bihar in Patna on August 19, 2010.

Yadav said he had launched the new party as a third alternative to the ruling NDA and the RJD-LJP alliance in Bihar. Devendra Prasad Yadav was Lok Sabha member from Jhanjahrpur four times. He said his party was alloted 'kulhadi' symbol by the Election Commission.
