Patna, September 23, 2010: A young talented singer Kalpana has already captured the Indian audiences with the sensational song “Tera Ishk Se Meetha” from Priyadarshan’s film “Aakrosh”.

After energetic duet of “Aila re aila mast Chamaila” with Diler Mahendi for Akshay Kumar’s film “Khatta Meetha”, singer Kalpana has hit the high notes again.

This time with the song “tera ishk se meetha” from Priyadarshan’s film Aakrosh, Kalpana has extended herself from her image to provide vibrant and energetic song in the film that has got the entire nation ecstatic. This masala number is sung with Sameera Reddy’s thumkas. Kalpana has sung the song in an attitude.

“Tera ishk se Meetha” has registered Kalpana’s voice in Bollywood and is currently the number one song on radio stations across the country.

Clearly, Kalpana has made it big in Bollywood with the magic of her voice.

She credits composer Pritam for giving her one of the best songs.

“Tera ishk se meetha” is the song which puts loads of life into Aakrosh, that has Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna , Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy and Paresh Rawal in the lead, is a wake-up call for the Indian audience based on the Honor Killings.

Could we imagine that song without her voice? Perhaps no, because the way she sang. It is definitely a huge hit song of 2010 against Munni Badnam from film Dabbang that music enthusiasts are enjoying. Says Kalpana, music director Pritam called me and narrated the songs situation, but didn’t mention anything about the production house or who it will be pictured on. It all came as a surprise to me.

In fact, music director Pritam made me sing various songs in films like Shah Rukh Khan’s –Billu Barber (billu bhayankar), Akshay Kumars –De Dana Dan (hotty naughty), Akshay Kumar’s-Khatta Meetha (aila re aila mast chamaila).

Kalpana's voice is apt for a song of this genre which has a folk and rustic touch.

This Assamese girl is the darling of the North Indian belt and has been christened the uncrowned BHOJPURI QUEEN. Says Kalpana, “tera ishk se meetha” is a good composition…worth listening.
