CPI-M leader Subodh Rai joins Janata Dal (United)

Senior CPI-M leader and former MP Subodh Rai joined Janata Dal (United) in presence of JD (U) state president Vijay Kumar Choudhary in Patna on September 1, 2010.

After joining JD (U), Rai said he was influenced by the initiatives taken by Nitish Kumar for development and ensuring peace and harmony in the society. “I wish that Nitish Kumar should return to power once again," he said.

Welcoming him into the party, Vijay Kumar Choudhary said Rai’s joining would further strengthen the party in Bihar.
