Bihar Police and Bihar Military Police jawans who sustained injures in fierce clash with Maoists in Kajara forest area of Lakhisarai district of Bihar were admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in Pana on August 30, 2010. Seven cops were killed in the clash on August 29, 2010. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the hospital to see the injured jawans. The Chief Minister also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each for slain cops.
