Patna Water Board employee attempts self immolation

Dayanand Ram , daily wage employee of the Patna Water Board (PWB) set himself on fire near PWB office in protest against non-payment of salary in Patna on September 15, 2010. Ram was taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital with 60 per cent burn injuries by the Kotwali police.
