'Common people deteriorated under the NDA regime'

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former minister Illiyas Hussain alleged that the lot of the common people deteriorated under the NDA regime and to prove his point he placed some questions to the chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Talking to reporters in Patna on September 27, 2010, Hussain asked Bihar CM to reply whether it was true that 55 per cent of Bihar's total population was living below the poverty line. "Is it not true that more than 50 lakh people migrate to other states in search of jobs," he said.
