Congress rules out post-poll ties with RJD

Bihar Congress chief spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra ruled out post-poll ties with Lalu Prasad's RJD. “Congress are going all alone in 243 seats and will not have any post-poll pact with the RJD”, he said while talking to reporters in Patna on October 18, 2010.

Mishra said RJD MP Raghuvanh Prasad Singh's statement is mischievous. "Congress is sure of forming government on its own," he added.

Earlier, RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh had said that it would seek Congress support in any attempt to form government in Bihar in the event of a hung assembly in the coming Assembly polls.
