Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar inaugurated the two-day Shiksha Diwas function and Gandhi Maidan in Patna on November 10, 2010. On the occasion, Governor felicitated 12 students for the academic excellence in different fields. Sachin Kumar received 'Bihar Gaurav Samman' comprising a cash of Rs one lakh and a citation for attaining first position in Joint Entrance Test, 2010. Ten other successful students in various streams of education received cash award ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000.
