National Election Watch expressed concern over the tickets given to criminals by political parties in the Bihar Assembly election. At a press conference in Patna on November 16, 2010, officials of the Non Government Organisation termed it a “retrograde step” despite the facts that criminals-turned-politicians were rejected by the people of Bihar in 2009 Lok Sabha election.
