Nitish meets Bihar Governor, stakes claim to form new government

NDA leaders led by Nitish Kumar called on Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar at Raj Bhavan in Patna on November 25, 2010 and submitted a list of 207 NDA legislators, including Dilip Verma of Sikta Assembly Constituency to the Governor staking his claim to form next government in Bihar. In response, Governor has invited Nitish Kumar to form new government. JD(U) and BJP leaders Sharad Yadav, Arun Jiatley, Ananth Kumar, Sushil Kumar Modi, Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Dr CP Thakur were present on the occasion.
