Talking to reporters, BJP spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad demanded that Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan resign immediately owning moral responsibility for alleged irregularities in allotment of flats in Adarsh Housing Cooperative Society in Mumbai.

“It is shameful and shocking to know that premises made for war widows is being exploited and used like this during his leadership ... I leave it to the sense propriety and conscience of the chief minister for a decision," he said.
