All-religion prayer meeting organised at Bihar CM's official residence in Patna















An all-religion prayer meeting was organised at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's official residence in Patna on January 14, 2011 in the memory of his mother Late Parmeshwari Devi. Priests belonging to different religions recited prayers for peace of his mother's soul.

Several leaders irrespective of their political affiliations were present in the prayer. JD (U) national president Sharad Yadav, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief Om Prakash Chautala, BJP leaders Arun Jaitley, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Syed Shahanwaz Hussain, Ravi Shankar Prasad, JD(U) MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, RJD national general secretary Ram Kripal Yadav, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui, hosts of MPs and MLAs were among prominent people present at the prayer. A “Bhoj” (lunch) was also served to mark the occasion.
