Bihar CM Nitish Kumar launches Gram Swasth Chetana Yatra

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated Gram Swasth Chetana Yatra in Patna on January 28, 2011. Bihar Vidhan Sabha Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary, Bihar Vidhan Parishad Chairman Tarakant Jha, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Bihar Health Minister Ashwini Choubey were present on the occasion.

Addressing the function, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the State Government would provide health cards to over two crores school children to ensure regular check-ups and treatment for them. The scheme for 6 to 14 years age groups children would be made effective from Bihar Diwas (March 22), he added.
