Bihar CM Nitish Kumar opposes Seeds Bill

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar criticised the proposed Seeds Bill terming it as ‘anti-farmer’ and appealed to all political parties to jointly oppose it in Parliament as it would make the country's farmers slaves of MNCs.

The Bihar Chief Minister was addressing a meeting organized by Janata Dal (United) Farmers Cell at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on June 9, 2011. Bihar JD(U) president Vashishta Narayan Singh and other leaders were present on the occasion.
