CBSE Patna office ransacked


Patna Police resorted to lathi-charge to quell unruly students who were protesting against the alleged large-scale irregularities in the CBSE class XII examination results at CBSE office in Patna on June 14, 2011. Earlier, students who were demanding re-evaluation of answer books of the CBSE class XII examination specially in physics, chemistry and mathematics ransacked the office. Police arrested about 10 students, who were later released on PR bond. More than 12000 students of Patna have applied for marks verification. Some of them even cracked IIT-JEE and AIEEE but failed to clear CBSE examination.
