No irregularity in BIADA land allotment, says Bihar Government

Addressing a joint press conference in Patna on July 25, 2011, with BIADA Managing Director A Arya, Bihar Industry Department's Principal Secretary CK Mishra rejected the Opposition allegation of irregularities in land allotment by the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA).

They said the BIADA had started allotment of land under a legislation enacted in 1974 and the land allotment was done under the rules framed in 2007. Chief Secretary Anup Mukherjee in his report also said there was no irregularity in allotment of land to entrepreneurs who might be relatives of state ministers, MPs or bureaucrats.
