Video-conferencing facilities under RTI launched in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the video-conferencing facilities for speedy disposal of RTI complaints at every district headquarters at State Information Centre in Patna on July 28, 2011. This is the first of its kind in the country. Addressing the launching ceremony, the Chief Minister said similar facilities would be extended up to the block-level.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Tara Kant Jha were present in the function. Bihar Chief Minister also felicitated district information officers for their commendable jobs in the function.
