Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad undertook Forbesganj march to console the bereaved families, who lost their kith and kin in police firing, from Patna on September 4, 2011. Speaking to reporters Lalu blamed the Nitish Kumar government of putting the Forbesganj firing incident in the cold storage. “No action has been taken against officials responsible for the incident in which four members of the minority community were killed”, he said.
“The Bihar government has also ignored the Opposition demand for a CBI probe into circumstances leading to the firing at Bhajanpura village which claimed the lives of four Muslims on June 3”, he said.
