Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad undertook Forbesganj march on September 5, 2011 to protest the police firing incident at Bhajanpura in which four persons were killed about three months ago. Lalu met the family members of the deceased and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh each to the four affected families as financial assistance from his party. He also gave away a cheque of Rs10,000 each to the families of 9 people, who sustained injuries in the incident.
