18th National conference of Indian Association for Social Psychiatry held in Patna

Indian Association for Social Psychiatry organised its 18th National conference in Patna on November 25, 2011. Bihar Health Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister Dr Sukhda Pandey jointly inaugurated the seminar. Addressing the conference, Choubey said the Bihar Government was planning to establish special wards for mental patients in every district hospitals. The theme of the conference was "bridging the treatment gap in in mental health".
