Bihar CM Nitish Kumar calls upon the people to gear up for decisive battle for special category status

November 4, 2012 was a historic day for Bihar as lakhs of people drawn from different districts of Bihar participated in the Adhikar Rally that was called by Janata Dal (United) at sprawling Gandhi Maidan in Patna  to press for Bihar's demand for special category state status. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed the meeting and made a clarion call to the people of Bihar to gear up for the decisive battle for the grant of special category state status from the Centre He also called upon the people to fill the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi in March next if the Centre fails to recognise Bihar's demand by then with "Dilli Chalo" slogan.
Janata Dal (United) national president Sharad Yadav, its Bihar unit president Vashisht Narayan Singh and several cabinet ministers of Bihar addressed the meeting.
